Most importantly, what are Guardian homes?

We have an Australian Labradoodle available to participate in our Guardian Program. All of our dogs are either raised by us, or enjoy a life in a family as a beloved  pet. These families are called Guardian Homes. They are families just that raise our potential breeding dogs in their homes, on the bed, and on their couch. The family will love, train and raise the puppy throughout their breeding career and after. After the dog has been sufficiently health tested ONLY then will it enter our breeding program. After the dog retires from our program he/she already has a "forever home". This ensures that our dogs are well socialized, well cared for, trained as every dog should. No kennels here.

As a guardian family you would need to be willing to bring the dog to us when they are required for breeding purposes but otherwise they live with you as any other pet would. Our female dogs - when she has been retired (before six years old) she becomes your forever pet.  For a female they will come to us a week prior to having the babies and will return to their family as soon as the puppies are weaned which is usually around 6 weeks.  Afterward, and during her pregnancy, she stays with the family that knows and loves herOur guardian families are encouraged to come and visit their dog and share the joy of watching her puppies grow.

We keep our guardian families up to date with photos and videos of mum and pups while she is in our care. we absolutely understand how much our families miss their girls while they are away and try to do what we can to help reassure you she is happy and enjoying her time with us and her babies. For a male guardian dog, he would only be required to leave his family for up to 3 days at a time, however it is often with only a weeks notice. We do expect our dogs to be well socialised and obedient and for you to keep us informed about the dog while in our program.

For males we need to have access to him for short periods of time for their honeymoons with the lovely girls.Once they retire, they are spayed/neutered at our expense and stay with their families. We understand this is a very big commitment, however we have found our wonderful guardian families enjoy being a part of our program, helping to improve the breed and bring joy to many more families.  If you would like to be considered as a guardian family please complete the online form under "Application Forms" and request a copy of the contract.  If you are interested in being interviewed and/or wish to learn more about this program please contact us at gmail.com for further details.
